Jehangir Mehta is a contestant on the newest season of The Next Iron Chef. Jehangir has graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He has worked as a pastry chef in some of the top restaurants in the region including Jean Georges, Virot, Sapa and Aix. He takes special pleasure in working with Ayurveda, spices and fruits. He has been called “one of the most daring and original pastry chefs” by New York Observer and is currently serving as the executive chef and owner of is restaurant called Graffiti. His restaurant opened in September of 2007.
