• What is this web site all about?
  
  GuessWhoWins.com is a fantasy-sports style web site built around reality television shows as opposed to sports. People can make their choices for who will win, lose and get eliminated from their favorite reality shows. They earn more points the more accurate their selections are. Users can create private leagues or join leagues to compete against friends, family, co-workers and complete strangers for bragging rights!
• What is the difference between private and public leagues?
  
  Both types of leagues offer the same functionality. The only difference is that private leagues are invitation-only, and are password-protected.
• Do I have to join a league to play?
  
  Yes, like with almost all fantasy sports web sites, you will need to join a league in order to play. Feel free to join any open public leagues, or create your own league at any time. There is also a single "Default League" for each show that you can join to compete against as many people as possible.
• How does the scoring system work?

• Can you explain the leaderboards?
  
  There are a few different types of leaderboards you will see throughout the site.

  • Each league has its own leaderboard ranking the players within that league
  • Each show has "overall" leaderboards ranking everybody on GuessWhoWins.com. These leaderboards are broken down between the overall leaderboard for just the current season of the show, as well as an overall leaderboard for all seasons of that show put together.
• When do I need to make my choices?
  
  As you can see on the How it Works page, there are a few types of choices you can make.

  • Your overall winner pick can be made at any time. However, you earn points each week your overall winner selection is not eliminated so the earlier in the season you make that selection, the more points you will win. There is also a bonus point cutoff date and your overall winner pick needs to be made before that date in order to receive those points. More information can be found on the How it Works page.
  • Your episode choices need to be made by midnight Pacific Time the night before each episode. You can change your episode picks at any time before this deadline.
• Can I join after the show has already started?
  
  Yes! You can join at any time. You will probably not earn as many points as people who have been playing for longer, but we have created our scoring system to make sure people could play even if they missed the beginning of the show.
• What if I am in multiple leagues for the same show?
  
  If you belong to different leagues for the same show, you only need to make your choices in one of the leagues and your selections will automatically be carried over into all other leagues.
• How much does all of this cost?
  
  There is no charge for use of anything on GuessWhoWins.com.
